About Us

     The Institute of Hispanic Culture is a non-profit organization dedicated to the study and diffusion of the Hispanic Culture and to the promotion of cultural exchanges between our community and the peoples of the Hispanic world.

     To achieve these objectives, the Institute organizes cultural programs in cooperation with local education institutions and other community groups. These programs contribute in great measure to the awakening in our community of an appreciation of Hispanic cultural values.

 Mision:

   The Institute’s mission is to provide scholarships to well-deserving and talented students who otherwise could not afford college, to disseminate the Hispanic culture, and to highlight the historical, linguistic, scientific, and artistic achievements and presence of Hispanics in the United States, particularly in Texas.
